OnePay Partners With Workday to Embed Financial Wellness Tools

1 reports · First detected 2026-04-10 · Last active 2026-04-10

Walmart-backed OnePay offers banking, savings, credit, investing and crypto products through a single financial-technology platform, while Workday supplies cloud software for human resources and payroll. OnePay is not itself a bank, with banking services provided by partner institutions. Their tie-up matters because it moves consumer financial services into software employees already use at work, as employers increasingly treat financial stress as an issue affecting productivity, retention and the overall employee experience.

OnePay said on April 8, 2026, that it had become a financial-benefits partner for Workday Wellness, giving employers access to its banking, investing and credit-building tools. A planned Enhanced Direct Deposit Switching, or EDDS, integration will let U.S.-based workers set up or redirect pay deposits to OnePay accounts inside Workday Payroll. APIs will remove manual entry of routing and account numbers, aiming to improve accuracy and simplify payroll allocation. The companies did not disclose financial terms; OnePay said its platform serves millions of U.S. consumers.
