SlowMist Unveils Five-Layer Security Framework for Autonomous Web3 AI Agents

2 reports · First detected 2026-03-11 · Last active 2026-03-18

Autonomous AI agents can sign transactions, interact with smart contracts and manage digital assets on users’ behalf. But prompt injection, runaway permissions and supply-chain compromises can also cause assets to be siphoned off. Blockchain security company SlowMist has therefore proposed a Web3 protection framework designed to make AI decision-making, authorization and on-chain execution controllable and traceable.

SlowMist recently released a report with cryptocurrency exchange Bitget identifying five major risks posed by autonomous AI agents. It also introduced a five-layer security architecture spanning governance controls and execution safeguards, alongside OpenClaw and the MistTrack on-chain tracking tool. As of July 19, 2026, no investment amount or exact release date had been disclosed.
