Stablecoin-Powered Neobank Fasset Raises $51 Million to Expand in Emerging Markets
Fasset is a digital bank built around stablecoins and blockchain payment rails. It provides Sharia-compliant accounts, investments and cross-border payment services in underserved markets across Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Its model can reduce remittance costs and settlement times, reflecting stablecoins’ shift from crypto trading instruments to everyday financial infrastructure.
Fasset said on May 14, 2026, that it had raised $51 million in Series B funding from investors including Japan’s SBI Group, Investcorp and Türkiye’s Arz Portföy. The proceeds will support market expansion, the development of small and medium-sized enterprise lending and trade finance, and the growth of Own Network. The platform spans 125 countries and more than 50 payment corridors, processes over $32 billion in annualized transaction volume and serves more than 1,000 SMEs.
