Bitcoin and Dollar System Have Symbiotic Relationship as Stablecoins Bolster US Dollar Dominance
The Bitcoin Policy Institute said Bitcoin provides a decentralized store of value, while stablecoins pegged 1:1 to the US dollar connect crypto markets with the dollar-based financial system. He called on the US Congress to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for stablecoins to reinforce the dollar's dominance in digital-asset markets and its geopolitical competitiveness.
