ZILO Launches Digital Transfer Agency Platform, Partners With Ripple
UK asset-management technology company ZILO has launched an integrated digital transfer agency platform that combines administration for traditional mutual funds with digital-asset issuance capabilities. The offering reflects a broader push by fund managers and service providers to modernize infrastructure, streamline back-office processes and support investment products spanning conventional and tokenized assets.
ZILO also agreed to work with blockchain payments and digital-asset infrastructure company Ripple to accelerate the digital transformation of software used by asset and wealth managers worldwide. The companies did not disclose the value or duration of the agreement, nor provide a specific platform rollout date. The partnership is intended to connect established fund-servicing functions with infrastructure supporting digital assets.

The history behind this eventRipple Backs ZILO, Licuido to Expand Tokenized Capital Markets
Tokenized capital markets promise faster settlement and more efficient use of assets, but institutional adoption still depends on regulated infrastructure for investor records, issuance and collateral mobility. Ripple is seeking to fill those gaps around the XRP Ledger, or XRPL. ZILO provides digital transfer-agency technology, while Licuido enables tokenized funds to be issued and used in secured financing and collateral transactions.
Ripple said on Aug. 3, 2026, that it had invested in UK financial-technology firms ZILO and Licuido, without disclosing the size or terms of either transaction. ZILO will add regulated transfer-agency capabilities to Ripple’s XRPL-based infrastructure, while Licuido will expand issuance and collateral-liquidity services. The investments are intended to help financial institutions move tokenized assets beyond issuance and into financing markets where they can be pledged and traded as collateral.
