Oligo Raises $60 Million to Counter AI-Driven Exploits
Oligo Security builds runtime defenses that observe what software actually does in production, using an eBPF-based sensor to identify which vulnerable library functions are executed and block exploits at the application layer. The approach has gained urgency as advanced AI systems, including Anthropic’s restricted Claude Mythos model, demonstrate how vulnerability discovery and exploit development can be automated at machine speed. That shift compresses patching windows and raises demand for controls that distinguish theoretical exposure from an attack in progress.
On Aug. 4, 2026, Oligo said it raised $60 million from Ballistic Ventures, Canon Capital, Greenfield Partners, Lightspeed, Red Dot Capital Partners, TLV Partners and investor Eyal Waldman, taking total funding to $140 million. The company said annual recurring revenue rose 300% over the past year and plans to use the capital for product development and global expansion. In February 2026, AWS named Oligo its exclusive AI runtime security partner for the extended AWS Security Hub plan, supporting real-time monitoring of AI-agent tool calls and operating-system behavior to stop hijacked or malicious agents.
