1 reports · First detected 2026-08-26 · Last active 2026-08-26

FinTechOn 2026 and the Asia FinTech Alliance Summit will bring policymakers, financial institutions and Web3 participants together to examine artificial intelligence, blockchain and global supply chains. The European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation, known as MiCA, will provide a key reference point as Taiwan considers a dedicated virtual-asset law and develops its approach to stablecoin oversight.

The summit is scheduled for Sept. 2, 2026, in Taipei, with senior officials from four Taiwanese ministries due to attend. Organizers have also invited the European regulatory expert described as the “father of MiCA,” alongside representatives from international financial and Web3 organizations, to discuss fintech development, virtual-asset legislation and regulatory strategies for stablecoins.
