Advantech Showcases WEDA Platform and Cross-Industry AI Agent Applications at COMPUTEX 2026

Advantech, best known for edge-computing hardware and industrial computers, is expanding into generative AI and AI agents. To address fragmented data and complex systems integration in smart manufacturing, healthcare and retail, the company launched its WEDA software platform. Built with NVIDIA technology, WEDA is designed to help companies move AI from proof-of-concept projects into real-world operations.

Advantech showcased WEDA at COMPUTEX 2026, which opened on June 2, 2026, with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang lending his support. The platform uses a three-tier AI agent architecture linking edge devices and models at the bottom, agent collaboration in the middle and industry applications at the top. Targeting manufacturing, healthcare and retail, it aims to accelerate automated decision-making and cross-system deployment. No investment amount was disclosed.
