Taiwan Financial Employment Gold Cards Top 1,000
Taiwan’s Employment Gold Card combines a work permit, resident visa, Alien Resident Certificate and re-entry permit for foreign professionals. The Financial Supervisory Commission is using the program to attract international expertise in cross-border finance, investment and global markets, supporting the government’s broader effort to develop Taiwan into an Asian asset-management hub and strengthen the financial sector’s competitiveness.
The FSC said the number of Gold Cards issued in the financial field reached 1,026 by the end of July 2026, crossing the 1,000 mark. Hong Kong, the United States and Singapore were the leading places of origin among recipients. The regulator has also revised its eligibility principles for financial specialists to add categories including asset management, widening the pool of overseas talent qualified to apply.
