Figure AI Unveils Figure 04 Humanoid Robot, Moves Toward Mass Production

Figure AI is developing general-purpose humanoid robots for tasks including factory material handling, assembly and household assistance. Figure 04 marks the company’s shift in focus from prototype demonstrations to a product designed for manufacturing and deployment. By lowering hardware costs and improving adaptability to different environments, Figure AI aims to bring humanoid robots closer to commercial deployment at scale.

As of July 20, 2026, Figure AI said it had finalized the Figure 04 design and formally entered the mass-production preparation stage, with planned annual capacity of 50,000 units. The next-generation model will accelerate hardware upgrades and support industrial and household use at a lower manufacturing cost. The company has not disclosed pricing, an initial shipment date or the timetable for starting production.
