Huawei Prodigy Li Bojie Clashes With ABCDE Capital Over Web3 Funding
Li Bojie, a former participant in Huawei’s “Genius Youth” program, later co-founded Web3 venture Metagent. The dispute emerged after ABCDE Capital accused him of taking investment money and abandoning the project. The public clash has raised questions about founder accountability, fulfillment of funding commitments and equity allocation, while highlighting the governance and compliance risks facing early-stage crypto ventures.
Li recently disputed claims made by ABCDE Capital co-founder Du Jun, saying the firm delivered only $500,000 of a promised $1.5 million investment while retaining equity tied to the full commitment. He said he legally resigned because of compliance concerns and family circumstances and denied disappearing. As of the publication of the latest report, the two sides remained locked in a social-media dispute over an alleged $1 million funding shortfall, equity ownership and business integrity.
