Mitigram Acquires Export Enterprises to Expand Trade Finance
Mitigram operates a digital trade-finance platform that helps companies connect with banks, compare funding options and execute instruments such as letters of credit. Export Enterprises SA runs eexpand, a Paris-based trade-intelligence platform that helps businesses identify export markets and counterparties. The deal matters because combining discovery, verified counterparty data and financing could give banks a clearer path to originate business while allowing exporters to move from market research to transaction execution within a broader connected workflow.
Stockholm-based Mitigram announced the acquisition on July 22, 2026, buying Export Enterprises and eexpand’s core assets, including Trade Pilot, Trade Club Connect and the Trade Resources Platform. Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 1989, eexpand serves more than 50 banks — including Lloyds Bank, Santander, Bank of China and Royal Bank of Canada — and supports over 700,000 registered businesses. Mitigram said the integration will link AI-driven matchmaking and market intelligence with its transactional trade-finance capabilities.
