Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL Adds Quick-Create Mode to Speed AI Deployment
AWS previewed plans at re:Invent 2025 to shorten database deployment times. Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL is AWS’s cloud-based relational database, and its quick-create mode eliminates manual VPC configuration and authentication setup, allowing AI applications to move more quickly from prototypes to operational environments.
AWS formally launched the feature on March 25, 2026. Developers can create a serverless cluster within seconds using two clicks or a single API call, with IAM authentication and an internet access gateway enabled by default. A separate Vercel v0 integration offer provides $100 in credits valid for up to six months.
