K-Pop Choreographer Choi Young-joon Launches AI Dance Platform MVNT
Choi Young-joon, a prominent K-pop choreographer whose credits include work with BTS and Seventeen, has founded MVNT with a technology team to turn choreography into programmable digital content. Its AI-powered tool generates dance movements from music, while the broader platform seeks to address persistent industry problems around intellectual-property ownership, usage tracking and revenue sharing for choreographers.
As of Aug. 9, 2026, MVNT had demonstrated its business-to-business potential through a collaboration with Epic Games Korea, highlighting possible uses in gaming, virtual characters and digital-content production. The company has secured $200,000 in seed financing and is raising a $1 million pre-Series A round to develop its product and expand commercialization.
