SailPoint Acquires Entro to Bolster AI Agent and Non-Human Identity Governance
As enterprises adopt autonomous AI agents, cloud services and automated workflows, non-human identities have come to outnumber human accounts, creating new attack surfaces through exposed credentials and unclear access responsibilities. Identity security provider SailPoint launched Agentic Fabric on May 11, 2026, extending its governance beyond human identities to access-risk management for AI agents, machines and applications.
SailPoint announced on June 15, 2026, that it would acquire Tel Aviv cybersecurity startup Entro Security and completed the transaction on June 29. The companies did not disclose the terms, though media reports estimated the deal at about $200 million. Entro’s capabilities for discovering non-human identities and credentials, monitoring token anomalies and blocking threats in real time will be integrated into Agentic Fabric. Its standalone products are also now available to SailPoint customers.
