Adyen Names Interim CFO and New Chief Product Officer
Dutch fintech company Adyen provides payment processing and financial services to businesses worldwide. Its chief financial officer oversees capital allocation, financial reporting and investor relations, while its chief product officer is responsible for product strategy and research and development. Simultaneous changes to these two core positions affect operational continuity, product direction and the market’s assessment of governance stability.
Adyen said Hwa Tsao, its current senior vice president of Group Finance, will become interim chief financial officer on September 1, succeeding the departing Ethan Tandowsky. Gayathri Rajan has taken over as chief product officer with immediate effect. Both executives report directly to the co-CEOs. The company did not disclose compensation or a timetable for appointing a permanent chief financial officer.
