Myseum Shares Soar on AI Pivot and Myseum.AI Rebrand
Myseum began as a privacy-focused social media and technology company whose products include the DatChat encrypted messaging service and the Picture Party photo-sharing platform. It plans to introduce AI agents to manage users’ personal photos, videos and messages while stressing that the data will not be shared with other platforms. The pivot also highlights the risk that AI hype and speculative capital can magnify moves in small-cap stocks.
On April 15, 2026, Myseum filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to change its name to Myseum.AI, effective the same day. Its Nasdaq ticker remained MYSE. Following the announcement, the shares jumped 129.17% on April 16 as trading volume surged to about 269 times the usual level. Its market capitalization rose by about $4 million to approximately $6.23 million, reflecting strong investor demand for AI-themed stocks.
