Wells Fargo Launches ExpressSend Mobile Nationwide

2 reports · First detected 2026-09-16 · Last active 2026-09-17

ExpressSend is Wells Fargo’s person-to-person remittance service for customers sending money from eligible consumer checking or savings accounts to family and friends abroad. Embedding the service in the Wells Fargo Mobile app brings enrollment, recipient management and transfer tracking into a single channel, strengthening the bank’s digital offering as mobile-first fintech providers compete for the cross-border payments market.

Wells Fargo announced the nationwide launch of ExpressSend Mobile on Sept. 14, 2026. Customers can send funds to 12 countries, including Mexico, India and the Philippines, through more than 49,000 payout locations, with eligible recipients receiving money by bank deposit or cash pickup, in some cases near real time. Transfers start at $25; overall limits are $5,000 per day and $12,500 over a rolling 30-day period. The first mobile transfer carries no transfer fee.
