1 reports · First detected 2026-07-25 · Last active 2026-07-25

Mbanq provides core banking, Banking-as-a-Service, lending, payments, card issuing and embedded-finance infrastructure to banks, credit unions, fintechs and enterprises. Founded in 2016 and profitable since 2019, the U.S.-based company is building an institutional funding channel to support expansion of its lending and Earned Wage Access platform, which lets employees tap accrued pay before payday. The program gives Mbanq a scalable source of capital as client demand and its loan portfolio grow.

On July 24, 2026, Mbanq said an unnamed leading Swiss private bank made the first investment in its new program; neither the investor’s identity nor the investment amount was disclosed. The U.S. dollar-denominated loan participation notes, issued by Encore Issuances S.A. for compartment 193, have been admitted to the Open Market of the Düsseldorf Stock Exchange under ISIN DE000A4MGVH3. The program has capacity of up to $100 million, with Baader Bank AG serving as custodian and paying agent.
