Remixpoint Sells Altcoins, Shifts to Bitcoin-Only Strategy

3 reports · First detected 2026-09-02 · Last active 2026-09-02

Remixpoint, a Japan-listed company and one of the country’s largest corporate Bitcoin holders, had maintained a diversified cryptocurrency treasury spanning Bitcoin and several altcoins. Its move to a Bitcoin-only portfolio sharpens the company’s digital-asset strategy and concentrates its market exposure in the largest cryptocurrency. Remixpoint said the shift would clarify its investment approach and improve capital efficiency after reviewing market conditions, risk-return profiles and its broader financial strategy.

On Sept. 1, 2026, Remixpoint sold 901.45 ETH, 13,920 SOL, 1.19 million XRP and 2.8 million DOGE for a combined 878.8 million yen ($5.5 million). The disposals generated a 117.8 million yen ($737,000) gain over their combined book value of 761 million yen. Bitcoin is now its sole cryptocurrency holding, totaling about 1,506 BTC and valued at roughly $115.3 million. The company also earned 14.92 BTC in lending fees between Feb. 24 and Aug. 31.
