AMD Invests $150 Million in Nutanix to Build Full-Stack Agentic AI Platform

Nutanix provides hybrid multicloud and enterprise cloud software, while AMD has built its AI computing portfolio around EPYC CPUs, Instinct GPUs and ROCm software. As enterprises advance from generative AI to agentic AI capable of independently planning and executing tasks, consistent deployment across edge, on-premises and cloud environments has become a key battleground in infrastructure.

On February 25, 2026, AMD announced a $150 million strategic investment in Nutanix through the purchase of common shares at $36.26 each. It will also provide up to $100 million for joint engineering and marketing. The companies will combine Nutanix Cloud Platform and Kubernetes Platform with AMD hardware and Enterprise AI software to create an open, scalable, full-stack agentic AI platform.
