Microsoft Unveils E7 AI Software Bundle, Combining Copilot and Agent 365 for Enterprise Transformation

Microsoft is addressing enterprise demand for managing generative AI and autonomous agents with Microsoft 365 E7, a single bundle combining Microsoft 365 E5, Copilot and Agent 365. The company positions the offering as a foundation for enterprise “Frontier Transformation,” focused on expanding AI from a personal tool into governed, measurable operational workflows.

Microsoft 365 E7 will cost $99 per user per month, using seat-based licensing alongside usage-based charges, and is scheduled to formally launch on May 1. Microsoft also unveiled the Agent 365 AI agent management platform and Windows 365 for Agents to help enterprises deploy, control and track agent activity, while linking adoption outcomes to productivity, business growth and return on investment.
