XRP Sentiment Falls to Eight-Month Low, a Historical Buy Signal, Santiment Says
XRP is the native asset of the Ripple ecosystem and the XRP Ledger, and the market has long focused on its regulatory status and institutional adoption. Blockchain analytics firm Santiment’s weighted sentiment indicator combines the ratio of positive to negative posts with discussion volume. Historically, extreme pessimism has often preceded price rebounds, though it does not guarantee a market bottom.
Santiment said XRP’s weighted sentiment fell to minus 0.908 on June 11, 2026, its lowest level since October 2025 and in about eight months. XRP traded at $1.14 on June 12, up 2.3% on the day, but had fallen by more than half from above $2.40 in January and was about 69% below its July 2025 peak. XRP Ledger activity involving payments and tokenized assets continued to set records over the same period.

The history behind this eventXRP Bottoming Signals Emerge as Technical Indicators Point to Potential Trend Reversal
XRP fell for about eight months after reaching a multiyear high in July 2025, dropping roughly 64% by spring 2026. TradingView data showed that the daily XRP/BTC relative strength index had fallen to 24, its most oversold level since October 2025. Glassnode’s MVRV Z-score was also close to zero, indicating that holders were near break-even and the market could be entering an accumulation phase.
Santiment data showed on May 27, 2026, that XRP’s 30-day MVRV had fallen to negative 47%, its lowest level since December 2020. CryptoQuant also observed a sharp increase in XRP Ledger transaction volume in April. XRP was consolidating between $1.30 and $1.50. A break above the descending wedge’s upper boundary at $1.50 would imply a technical target of $3.10 and a potential gain of about 134%, though a reversal has yet to be confirmed.
