Figure AI Humanoid Robot F.03 Completes 81-Hour Autonomous Sorting Challenge

3 reports · First detected 2026-05-18 · Last active 2026-06-03

Figure AI is targeting warehouse and logistics automation with humanoid robots. Its F.03 uses the Helix-02 vision-language model to identify parcels and autonomously determine how to pick and place them. The test was designed to gauge whether the robot could sustain near-human sorting efficiency over an extended period. The industry still believes such systems remain several years away from fully replacing human workers.

Figure AI’s latest demonstration showed the F.03 operating for more than 81 consecutive hours without human intervention. It sorted 101,391 parcels, averaging about 1,252 per hour, demonstrating the system’s endurance, stability and autonomous decision-making. In a related comparison, an intern still picked items faster than the AI robot. Available information did not disclose the test date or any financial figures.
