NVIDIA Rolls Out OpenAI Codex Companywide as GPT-5.5 Runs on GB200 Systems

NVIDIA is a leading provider of AI chips and computing systems, while OpenAI Codex is a software development tool powered by GPT-5.5. CEO Jensen Huang's push for companywide adoption shows that generative AI is moving beyond research experiments into routine work across departments. In a recent companywide email, Huang encouraged more than 10,000 NVIDIA employees to use OpenAI Codex to improve efficiency in programming and general workflows. The tool has already been adopted across multiple departments. Reports also disclosed that GPT-5.5 is running on NVIDIA's own GB200 NVL72 rack-scale systems, demonstrating real-world deployment progress for the next-generation model and the Blackwell platform.
