DFG CEO James Wo Bullish on Bitcoin, Cautious on Ethereum
James Wo, founder and CEO of crypto investment firm DFG, turned a $20 million family investment into a fund managing $1 billion. He believes Bitcoin has gained broad acceptance among institutional investors and is gradually establishing a market position similar to that of a safe-haven asset, drawing attention to its future performance.
In a recent report, Wo expressed further confidence in Bitcoin, saying its price could reach $125,000, but remained more cautious on Ethereum. He said the expansion of Layer-2 networks has dispersed activity away from the mainnet, diluting Ethereum’s value and fee revenue. He therefore doubts that it can surpass its all-time high in the near term. The report did not specify when the comments were made.
