Indian Tycoon Invests NT$1 Billion in AI-Native Neo to Challenge Microsoft and Google
Indian entrepreneur Bhavin Turakhia has founded startup Neo to target the enterprise productivity software market long dominated by Microsoft and Google. Instead of adding AI features to existing products, Neo is building an integrated, AI-native platform from the ground up. It is also pursuing a model-neutral strategy that allows businesses to select different AI models according to their needs.
As of July 20, 2026, Turakhia had invested $30 million of his own money, equivalent to about NT$1 billion, to fund Neo’s product development and market expansion. The AI-centric platform aims to integrate business communications, collaboration and everyday workflows, directly challenging the market positions of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
