Standard Chartered Launches Automated Structured-Product Quoting Platform in Taiwan
Standard Chartered has targeted Taiwan’s high-net-worth clients in recent years, drawing on the digital wealth-management models used in Singapore and Hong Kong. Structured products traditionally require time-consuming manual work to compare terms across multiple issuers and prepare documents. The bank’s partnership with fintech provider FinIQ is designed to accelerate quoting, broaden product choice and strengthen its competitiveness in premium wealth management.
Standard Chartered recently launched an automated structured-product quoting platform in Taiwan, initially integrating products from issuers including Goldman Sachs, Barclays and BNP Paribas. The platform consolidates client requirements, automatically searches for quotes across institutions and generates the relevant documents, reducing processing time for frontline staff. Public disclosures have not specified the platform’s formal launch date, investment amount or target assets under management.
