Caleb & Brown Targets Wealthy Investors in UK Crypto Push
Melbourne-founded Caleb & Brown has built its business around dedicated brokerage and asset-management services for wealthy cryptocurrency investors. Australian exchange Swyftx announced its acquisition of the firm in July 2025 in a transaction valued at about A$100 million to A$200 million. Caleb & Brown then held more than A$2 billion in client assets. The deal, completed on June 18, 2026, gave Swyftx a platform for expanding its private-client model beyond Australia and the US.
Caleb & Brown said on Aug. 4, 2026, that it was entering the UK, focusing on high-net-worth investors instead of competing for mass-market retail traders. Parent company Swyftx sees room to grow because cryptocurrency adoption in Britain remains lower than in the US, Asia and Australia. The expansion extends the group’s international push following the acquisition, though the company did not disclose its planned UK investment, customer targets or revenue forecasts.
