Thomaston Savings Bank Taps Diebold Nixdorf for ATM Upgrade
Thomaston Savings Bank, a Connecticut-based mutual savings bank founded in 1874, operates 16 branches and provides round-the-clock ATM access across its local footprint. Modernizing those machines is important as community banks seek to match larger rivals on convenience, security and service availability while connecting physical self-service channels more closely with digital banking.
The bank said on Aug. 12, 2026, it selected Diebold Nixdorf’s DN Series® ATMs to modernize its self-service network. The project will also deploy the vendor’s latest terminal application software and comprehensive managed services, aimed at improving system performance and the customer experience. The companies did not disclose the contract value, number or mix of machines, or a detailed rollout timetable.
