Fluidkey Guide Maps USDC Transfers to Taiwan Banks
Fluidkey is a self-custodial wallet that connects onchain assets with conventional banking rails while allowing users to retain control of their funds. Its bank-transfer service treats USDC as US dollars at a 1:1 ratio and supports international payments through SWIFT. For users in Taiwan, the service offers a direct off-ramp to local bank accounts, reducing the need to sell tokens through a centralized exchange before initiating a conventional wire transfer.
As of Aug. 13, 2026, the guide instructs users to open a Fluidkey account and complete know-your-customer checks before following four steps: select USDC, tap the bank icon, add the Taiwan bank’s beneficiary and SWIFT details, and enter and confirm the amount. SWIFT transfers carry a fixed $25 charge and typically take one to five business days. Fluidkey waives its platform fee on the first $3,000 of monthly bank transfers, with a 0.3% fee applying above that threshold.
