Paysafe Wallet Users Rise 8% as iGaming Payments Accelerate
Paysafe operates a global payments platform whose digital wallets connect consumers with online merchants, while payment processing for iGaming is another key business. Sustained growth in active wallet users points to broader reach and engagement, but transaction volume remains an important measure of whether that expansion is translating into stronger monetization and revenue momentum.
Paysafe reported that second-quarter active digital wallet users rose 8% from a year earlier to 7.8 million, marking a fifth consecutive quarter of growth. Total digital wallet transaction volume was unchanged at $6.6 billion, indicating that higher user numbers have yet to lift aggregate payment flows. The company also said growth in its iGaming payment-processing business accelerated during June and July.

The history behind this eventPaysafe Digital Wallet Users Rise 6% to 7.8 Million in Fourth Quarter
Paysafe is a payments platform offering digital wallets, e-commerce and merchant acquiring services. Digital wallet activity is a key gauge of transaction volumes and user engagement. With demand in the small and medium-sized business (SMB) channel weakening, the digital business’s ability to sustain its expansion is critical to the company’s revenue momentum and 2026 outlook.
Paysafe’s latest results for the fourth quarter of 2025 showed that active digital wallet users rose 6% year on year to 7.8 million as of the end of December. Revenue from the segment increased 13% to $220 million. Growth in e-commerce and digital wallets partly offset pressure in the SMB channel, underpinning the company’s confidence in its 2026 performance.
