King Charles III Meets Tech Leaders to Discuss AI and Venture Capital Ecosystem

King Charles III convened leaders from technology companies including Nvidia, AMD, Amazon and Apple during a visit to the United States. The discussion focused on the funding “valley of death” that startups often face as they move from research and development to commercialization. The issue is central to whether Britain and the United States can turn research breakthroughs in AI, quantum technology and other fields into industries and companies operating at scale.

Huang said AI, quantum computing and robotics offer enormous potential, but an active venture capital ecosystem is now needed most to support a startup culture.
