Bitcoin Retreats on Risk-Off Mood, but Analysts See Leverage Flush Rather Than Trend Reversal
U.S. stocks pulled back after Nvidia's earnings, cooling risk appetite and weighing on Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies. Analysts said the volatility reflected liquidations of highly leveraged positions and investor portfolio adjustments, but was not yet enough to confirm a reversal of the medium-term uptrend.
Bitcoin declined on Friday as the risk-off mood persisted, with other major cryptocurrencies also under pressure. Even so, Bitcoin and most major tokens remained higher for the week as of Friday. The market remains range-bound, with attention now focused on whether recent support levels can hold once the leverage flush ends.
