Palantir Issues 'Technology Republic Manifesto' for New Era of AI Warfare and Deterrence

Palantir has long supplied data analytics and AI software to U.S. defense and intelligence agencies. In recent years, it has made battlefield decision-making, autonomous systems and partnerships with defense contractors key areas of growth. The “Technology Republic” argues that Silicon Valley must resume responsibility for national security instead of focusing solely on consumer apps, reflecting the accelerating convergence of the U.S. technology and military sectors.

Palantir recently issued a 22-point “Technology Republic Manifesto.” CEO Alex Karp said the development of AI weapons is irreversible and that the world is entering a new era in which algorithms and autonomous weapons underpin deterrence. He called on the United States to restore the draft, introduce universal national service and press technology elites to contribute to defense. He also questioned whether multiculturalism weakens a shared national identity. The manifesto disclosed no financial figures or exact publication date.
