Fifth Third said on Aug. 19, 2026, that it led a strategic investment in Payload, which serves real estate, legal services, property management and other verticals; Payload processed nearly $500 million in May. Priority Commerce agreed on Aug. 26 to acquire IntelliPay, expanding into state and local government and utility payments. CSI completed its acquisition of Qolo on July 14, adding a real-time ledger, multi-rail payment orchestration and card-issuing technology.
