Francisco Partners Acquires EfficientIP to Expand AI-Era Network Security

Francisco Partners, a technology-focused investment firm, is acquiring French DNS security and network automation provider EfficientIP as enterprises contend with more complex hybrid-cloud and artificial-intelligence infrastructure. DNS has become an increasingly important control point for connectivity, visibility and cyber defense, raising demand for platforms that can automate network operations while protecting critical services from disruption and attacks.

Francisco Partners said it will use its technology investment and operational expertise to help EfficientIP expand internationally and strengthen its cybersecurity portfolio.
