LCY Chemical Launches AI x Semiconductor Hiring Plan, Earmarks Nearly NT$100 Million Over Five Years
LCY Chemical has long invested in semiconductor materials. As AI and high-performance computing fuel demand for advanced processes, material purity, process integration and supply stability are becoming increasingly critical. The expansion of its R&D talent pipeline reflects the company’s push to strengthen material development and mass-production capabilities and capture opportunities arising from the semiconductor industry’s upgrade.
LCY Chemical said it has designated 2026 as the first year of its “AI acceleration” initiative and launched an “AI x Semiconductor Hiring Plan.” Starting in 2026, it plans to invest nearly NT$100 million over five years and recruit about 50 R&D and process engineers to expand its advanced-process materials research and technical support capabilities.
