Bitcoin Builds Key Support in $60,000–$70,000 Range

1 reports · First detected 2026-06-17 · Last active 2026-06-17

After Bitcoin’s correction, the market is looking for a potential price floor. The Unspent Realized Price Distribution (URPD) shows the price at which coins last moved onchain. A heavy concentration of holder cost bases can create support because many investors are near break-even, making Bitcoin’s ability to hold the $60,000–$70,000 range crucial to determining whether the decline has run its course.

On June 17, 2026, analyst Frank Fetter cited Checkonchain data from the previous day showing that nearly 20% of Bitcoin’s supply was concentrated between $60,000 and $70,000. CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost also said coins were moving from weak hands to strong hands. However, a bearish flag on the daily chart still points to $53,500. Bitcoin must reclaim its 20-day exponential moving average at $66,420 before it could advance toward about $70,250.
