DeFi Developer Anton Cheng Joins Morpho APAC Team

Morpho is a DeFi protocol focused on onchain asset lending, with its APAC team responsible for expansion and partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region. Taiwanese developer and ABMedia writer Anton Cheng’s move from freelance work into the organization marks a renewed combination of individual technical practice and institutional resources. It also reflects the shift toward cross-border specialization among DeFi professionals.

Cheng announced that he would end his freelance career and move to Paris to join Morpho’s APAC team. Reflecting on what he called his past “ascetic persona” and pursuit of technical purity, he said he hoped to expand DeFi’s impact through institutional collaboration.
