ClearBank Marks 10th Anniversary With Third Straight Year of UK Profitability
Founded in 2016, ClearBank was the UK’s first clearing bank built from scratch in more than 250 years. Its cloud platform provides real-time clearing and embedded banking services to fintech companies, banks and businesses. Three consecutive years of profitability in its core UK market show that its infrastructure- and fee-driven model is maturing, while providing a financial foundation for expansion in Europe.
On April 15, 2026, ClearBank reported full-year results for the year ended December 31, 2025. Normalised UK revenue rose 32% to £117.7 million, while pre-tax profit increased 53% to £12.2 million, marking a third consecutive profitable year. Group normalised revenue climbed 34% to £121.6 million. The company processed 262 million payments during the year, up 57%, and had £17.8 billion in deposits under management at year-end.
