QIC Outlines Four Strategies to Help Taiwan Companies Navigate the AI Capital Era
Taiwan’s benchmark stock index has remained above 30,000 points since January 2026, while daily turnover has regularly exceeded NT$800 billion and the market has risen to seventh globally by capitalization. However, the concentration of capital in AI, TSMC and its supply chain has also widened valuation disparities among companies. Quantum International Corp. (QIC) says the market has shifted from high-dividend and value investing toward an “AI capital era” focused on growth and capital expenditure, requiring traditional companies to reshape their capital-markets narratives.
QIC founder and CEO Alex Lee said on March 31, 2026, that 1,071 companies, representing 50% of Taiwan’s listed and over-the-counter companies, had fallen below their one-year moving averages. They included four large-cap stocks valued at more than $10 billion each. Lee proposed four priorities: restoring growth trajectories, presenting long-term visions with concrete targets, communicating key information precisely, and turning ESG commitments into management action. The measures are intended to attract capital from long-term investors and passive funds.
