Spare, Tabadulat Partner on Pay-by-Bank Investment Funding
Spare provides Open Finance infrastructure that connects digital platforms with banks through APIs, enabling account-to-account payments without relying on card rails. Tabadulat is an Abu Dhabi Global Market-based online brokerage regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority as an Islamic financial institution. Their partnership is significant because it extends Pay-by-Bank technology into Shariah-compliant investing, where a simpler funding process could reduce friction associated with manual transfers.
The companies announced the strategic partnership on Aug. 12, 2026, saying Spare’s Pay-by-Bank solution will be integrated into Tabadulat’s platform. Users will be able to move money directly from their bank accounts to fund or top up investment accounts. Spare and Tabadulat did not disclose the value of the agreement, pricing, transaction limits or a firm launch date. Tabadulat operates under ADGM Financial Services Permission No. 250032.
