Crypto ETF Weekly Inflows Slow to $230 Million on Hawkish Fed Stance, CoinShares Says
CoinShares' weekly fund-flow report tracks institutional demand for digital-asset investment products worldwide. Net inflows fell to $230 million in the week ended March 20, according to the report released March 23. The market then recorded $405 million in outflows after the Federal Reserve's March 18 decision was interpreted as a “hawkish pause,” underscoring crypto's continued sensitivity to interest-rate expectations.
Bitcoin still attracted $219.2 million that week, while Ether posted $27.5 million in net outflows, ending a three-week inflow streak. CoinShares' latest report, released April 7, showed flows rebounding to a net $224 million in the week ended April 3. Switzerland contributed $157.5 million, XRP led with $119.6 million, and Ether continued to see outflows of $52.8 million.
