Alice Raises $140 Million to Expand AI Security Platform
Alice, formerly known as ActiveFence, rebranded in early 2026 as it expanded from policing harmful online activity into securing AI models and agents. Its platform draws on nearly a decade of intelligence covering fraud, extremism and coordinated manipulation, including its proprietary Rabbit Hole dataset, to test models, install enterprise guardrails and monitor deployed systems. The company is targeting a widening attack surface as businesses give AI agents greater autonomy.
Alice announced the $140 million funding round on Aug. 25, 2026, with Apax Digital Funds leading the investment. The deal lifts the Israel-based company’s total funding to $280 million. Alice plans to spend the proceeds on its AI testing, defense and monitoring platform, expand the team maintaining Rabbit Hole and scale sales. The company said its AI business grew more than 500% over the past two years and that annual recurring revenue was approaching $100 million.
