LemonEdge Raises $21 Million in Blackstone-Led Series A
LemonEdge, founded in 2020, provides cloud-based fund, partnership and portfolio accounting software for private-markets managers, administrators and family offices. Its platform automates complex allocations, multi-ledger bookkeeping and reporting that many firms still handle with legacy systems or spreadsheets. The financing matters as private-asset managers face increasingly intricate fund structures and pressure to deliver faster, more reliable data to investors.
On July 29, 2026, London-based LemonEdge said it raised $21 million in Series A funding led by Blackstone Innovation Investments, with participation from BNY and Sidekick Partners. Blackstone and Sidekick were already backers, while BNY adds a major asset-servicing institution to the shareholder group. LemonEdge said it will use the proceeds to expand its technology offering and market reach as demand for modern fund-accounting infrastructure grows.
