Nvidia’s Huang Urges G20 Nations to Accelerate AI Infrastructure

Surging demand for artificial intelligence computing has turned chips, power supplies, networks and data centers into strategic economic assets. Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang argues that AI infrastructure should be treated much like roads and electricity grids: essential capacity that can help domestic companies innovate, raise productivity and compete in an increasingly AI-driven global economy.

Huang recently urged ministers at a Group of 20 meeting to accelerate investment in AI infrastructure and data centers, though no specific spending target or construction timetable was disclosed. He also rejected claims that AI will simply eliminate jobs, saying the technology will redefine how work is performed. Governments that approach the shift primarily through fear, he warned, risk falling behind as adoption gathers pace.
