Revolut, N26 Alumni Launch Quartz With £2.75 Million Funding

2 reports · First detected 2026-09-16 · Last active 2026-09-17

Quartz was founded in 2025 by André Silva, Revolut’s former head of global expansion, and Mateus Mesquita Alves, previously an investment product lead at N26. The London fintech aims to bridge the gap between costly personalised wealth advice and standardised retail products. Its app consolidates pensions, ISAs, savings and investments, while an AI assistant called Charlie monitors markets and provides portfolio-specific information. Quartz is registered with the UK Financial Conduct Authority as an Account Information Service Provider.

Quartz announced its UK launch on Sept. 16, 2026, after raising £2.75 million in a pre-seed round, reported elsewhere as £2.7 million in seed funding. Daphni led the financing, joined by Outward VC and K Fund, with backing from angel investors including Kantox founder Philippe Gelis and former N26 and Kraken chief product officer Gilles BianRosa. Quartz has tracked more than £10 million of members’ assets since testing began in the first quarter of 2026 and is onboarding its UK waitlist in invitation-only batches.
