Cybersecurity Weekly: iOS Exploit Tool DarkSword and Anthropic AI Threats Draw Scrutiny

1 reports · First detected 2026-03-23 · Last active 2026-03-23

Mobile devices and generative AI have become core enterprise tools, but they have also widened the attack surface. This week’s key developments include the iOS exploit tool DarkSword and the Claudy Day attack chain targeting Anthropic’s platform. Taiwanese cybersecurity team DEVCORE also examined supply-chain risks affecting LLM applications and software package repositories.

DarkSword again drew attention from the cybersecurity community between March 16 and 20, highlighting the growing threat of exploits targeting iOS devices. The Claudy Day attack chain disclosed during the same period, along with other techniques for manipulating AI assistants, underscored the potential for abuse of services such as Anthropic. A DEVCORE seminar also focused on the associated defensive challenges.
