SAP Strategic Investment Values n8n at $5.2 Billion in Agentic AI Push

n8n is an open-source workflow automation platform that connects enterprise applications, data and AI agents, while SAP is a major global provider of ERP and enterprise software. Agentic AI is moving beyond chat tools toward multi-agent systems that can independently divide and execute tasks. The partnership could shape how businesses adopt AI and design governance frameworks around it.

SAP announced a strategic investment in n8n in July 2026. The undisclosed investment valued n8n at $5.2 billion, doubling its valuation in less than a year. The companies also signed a multiyear commercial agreement to integrate n8n’s automation technology into SAP’s Joule Studio AI engine, helping enterprise customers worldwide build autonomous, collaborative multi-agent workflows.
